Areas of Practice

Since being called to the Bar in 2010, Julien has developed a busy criminal law practice appearing in all matters criminal including trials and hearings under the Crimes (Mental Impariment and Unfitness to be Tried) Act 1997.

Previous Experience

Immediately prior to coming to the Bar, Julien spent one year working in crime as the Associate to Her Honour Judge Rizkalla and one year as the Associate to His Honour Judge Anderson, the judge in charge of the County Court Commercial List. As an associate Julien acquired a wealth of courtroom experience which has been invaluble in building his practice.

Qualifications

Julien is is included on the Victoria Legal Aid Criminal Trial Preferred Barrister List and holds his Indictable Crime Certificate.
